County Hall, Norwich

Youngs Doors were invited to supply new fire doors for County Hall in Norwich during their renovation project. The County Hall first opened its doors back in 1968, a revamp to the ageing building was needed and the Council also wanted to reduce their carbon emissions by 40% by 2020. They made numerous energy improvements to make the building more environmentally friendly.

We provided around 130 American White Oak veneered door sets, ranging from FD30 and FD60 fire ratings across the building. Vision panels were fitted into the majority of the doors in Oak glazing beads to match.
