After almost 30 years with Youngs Doors, we recently said goodbye to Robert “Bob” Barham as he begins his well-deserved retirement.
Since joining the business in January 1996, Bob has worked across a variety of roles, from the manual press and factory saws to Goods In and Out, where he put his forklift and banksman qualifications to great use. Most recently, he played a key role in preparing doors for dispatch.
Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Bob was known for keeping the factory stocked with tea, coffee and milk, as well as delivering our Christmas hampers each year. His hard work, dedication and friendly presence will be greatly missed by colleagues across the business.
A lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter, Bob was presented with a retirement gift tailored to his interests, including a pair of Spurs slippers ready for a more relaxed pace of life.
Thank you, Bob, for your many years of service, commitment and friendship. Everyone at Youngs Doors wishes you a long, happy and well-earned retirement.
