Broadland Gate Police Station

Broadland Police Station is now serving the community from this new central hub for detective investigations, crime scene investigation, and roads and community policing for Norfolk Constabulary.

Built on the outskirts of Norwich, this 43,000 sq ft facility brings several smaller local police stations together, enabling greater efficiencies and providing the very best digital technology. The hub includes a striking curved office space, along with smaller buildings including a PSE building, an interview building, vehicle workshop and dog kennel.

Youngs Doors supplied over 100 doorsets, which comprised a mix of fire and non-fire rated doors and included acoustic doors, some with vision panels.
Door leaves were solid core and faced with selected timber veneers in maple, book matched across the face of the doors, finished with clear lacquer. We also undertook the factory recessing of hinges and locks.

All doors were supplied under the Fire Door Manufacturers scheme BM TRADA Certification Services and Timber Consultancy ensuring the continuation of our strict compliance with regulation.

This is a project we have been very proud to have worked on, helping this vital blue light service in their role to tackle crime in the community.
